At LDP Window Cleaning Ltd we not only clean your guttering, we repair it if it's broken or leaking too. Overflowing gutters usually mean that there is a blockage which would point to them needing a gutter clean, although overflowing gutters can be caused by a number of different issues - broken brackets, sagging guttering and poor fitting to name but a few. Leaking or dripping gutters are another issue you might have and again there are a number of things that could be causing this to happen - broken joints, deteriorated seals, holes in your gutters or pieces could have simply just separated.
For us to repair your leaking or overflowing guttering we would generally use one of the following methods:
. replace deteriorated seals or completely change the joint,
. use a gutter sealant as a quick fix if we haven't got a part in stock and then return to fit the required part,
. if there are more than a couple of repairs on one part of the guttering, we would usually recommend replacing the section,
. poorly fitted guttering is re-fitted to ensure that standing water is eliminated and that water flows correctly.
Minor guttering repairs can usually be completed within half an hour to an hour. Our staff will assess the required repairs upon arrival to your property and if the repair work is going to take longer than previously advised, we will discuss this with you and then go ahead with the repairs if you are happy for us to do so. If, for any reason, the repair work cant be completed on the day, for example, the job is bigger than first expected, there would have to be a revised quote and the job would be booked in for a date and time that suits you. If you don't want to go ahead with the repairs then there will be no charge as all of our quotes are supplied with no obligation and there is no call out fee.
